If there's one TV show we are counting the days to in January, it's this one. The long-awaited rock drama 'Vinyl' has been in the works for the last five years now, and has none other than Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter on board as executive producers.
The series will broadcast on HBO and is set to explore the drug and sex fueled music business as punk and disco were breaking out, all through the eyes of a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound.
It will also star a former Boardwalk cast member as Bobby Cannavale leads the series as the aforementioned record executive Richie Finestra, while Olivia Wilde is set to play his former actress/model wife Devon. Ray Romano is Zak Yankovich, the Head of Promotions for the label, and Juno Temple fills the role of Jamie Vine, an ambitious assistant in the A&R department.
Excited? You should be.
