When it comes to impressions of some of the most loved and loathed famous folk of our nation, Mario Rosenstock is truly the master. His spot on impersonations of the likes of Roy Keane, Joan Burton, Michael Flatley and Vincent Browne (to name but a few) have been keeping the country entertained every morning on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show for 15 years now.
The comedian was on the first episode of Miriam O'Callaghan's summer chat show on Saturday and as usual didn't fail to bring his A-game. As well as impersonating the host herself (genuinely), he told Miriam about his six minute nerve wracking encounter with Roy Keane whereby the football manager insisted that he sounded nothing like Mario's version of him, and challenged him to 'make me laugh'.
Jaysus. It would have been totally understandable if he legged it leaving a Mario Rosenstock shaped hole in the wall BUT the comedian rose to the challenge...
