From the collection dodger to the power napper to the messers down the back, being in mass really was/is more like being in school, and Republic of Telly nailed it in their latest sketch last night.
We don't know why they had to set it in the '80s (probably because no one really goes to mass anymore) but it really hit home with anyone who was forced to go back in the grand old days of Catholic Ireland.
Although we never came across a funny priest. But that might just be us.
