The aftermath of Kim Kardashian's horrifying robbery at gunpoint in Paris last year is to be featured in the upcoming season of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' and matriarch Kris Jenner has revealed just how much we're going to see.
Speaking on Ellen, Jenner said: "The Paris episode is the second of Season 13 because it’s in chronological order. The first episode you see, the girls are in Miami doing something with the DASH stores. Then the Paris incident happened, which was devastating."
While the show stopped filming in the immediate aftermath of the incident, production resumed once Kim was home safely in Los Angeles, and Jenner says she found talking about the robbery "therapeutic".
"When we started filming again, Kim was obviously around because we practically live together on the same street. And what was coming out was very therapeutic for her. We’ve now just started seeing some of the stuff that came out of those days, and no one can even get through the first five minutes without getting hysterical."
"She tells what happens moment by moment and it’s riveting," Kris said. "It’s remarkable to listen to her tell the story. I was watching it and was bawling. I couldn’t even watch the whole thing it was so upsetting."
And if you're thinking it's a bit macabre to include the whole incident in a reality TV show for profit, Jenner and Kardashian have explained their reasoning for including it, with Kris saying that Kim "thinks it might bring awareness. We’ve changed the way we live our lives and the way we take care of our kids, and my grandchildren. It’s been a process."
