It's hard to imagine anyone else playing the iconic role of Jon Snow now, but it was almost over before it even started for Kit Harrington.
The Game of Thrones star auditioned for the part of Jon Snow with a black eye due to the fact that he'd gotten into a fist fight the night before, in McDonald's of all places. You'll be relived to know though that Kit got into said fight for the noblest of reasons, to defend the honour of his girlfriend at the time. Kit explains the story in full below.
