Frank Underwood has to be one of our favourite TV characters of recent years, and he has been played to perfection by Kevin Spacey for the last two seasons of the Netflix original drama, House of Cards.
While last year his co-star Robin Wright deservedly got the nod for her performance as Frank's wife Claire Underwood, this year it was finally Spacey's turn, who joked in his speech; "This is the eighth time I've been nominated, I cannot f*cking believe I won."
You would think that an actor who has played some of those most iconic roles in cinema and has not one, but two Oscar wins to his name at this point (The Usual Suspects and American Beauty) would not be too pushed on getting a Golden Globe, but he genuinely seemed delighted about it (although he is a good actor in fairness).
Also, how in the hell has this guy not won a Golden Globe before now?!
