Don't you just LOVE a bit of political comedy from Armando Iannucci? The man behind The Thick of It took his talents across the pond last year, and came up with smash hit US comedy Veep, for which Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus picked up an Emmy.
For those who don't know, Veep takes us into the office of the Vice President of the United States, following her and her team as they get themselves into all manner of situations. Julia plays the titular Vice President, while My Girl's Anna Chlumsky (yes, that's where you know her from) is her Chief of Staff. It's funny, it's smart and it's utterly endearing. That's probably why HBO renewed it for a second season...
We have to say, Julia's looking rather well in the first sneak peek at the new series! Veep returns to US screens on April 14th and you can catch it on Sky Atlantic some time around June.
