This was bound to happen some day. Having a drinks cabinet right next to a guest was going to end up with someone throwing their drink at poor 'oul Alan. Sure enough, it was comedy legend and Monty Python star John Cleese who did the honours. Talking about the upcoming reunion show in O2 London, Carr and Cleese talked about riding the tube when Cleese - out of nowhere - dumps his drink on Carr which brought half the house down.
Carr, thankfully, took it in good spirits (see what we did there?) and continued on with the interview, but not before dumping a bottle of Mickey Finns over Cleese. Cleese took to Twitter later that night and apologised for it. Bit over-the-top, sure, but did he need to apologise?
