J.K. Simmons is finally getting some long overdue recognition this year for his role in the Oscar nominated movie Whiplash. He plays the insanely intense music teacher Fletcher, but many will be familiar with him for more light hearted roles down the years (we loved him in Juno).

He will definitely be showing his lighter side this weekend as he is hosting America's comedy show Saturday Night Live for the first time, along with SNL cast member Kenan Thompson.

Below is their promo, where Kenan gets all Fletcher on J.K to get him to do it right, while the pair also poke fun at the lack of snow in New York this week despite apocalyptic style weather warnings.
