If you've been living under a rock for the past twenty-four hours or indeed the past several months, Ireland held a referendum yesterday to consider repealing the eighth amendment and ending the constitutional ban on abortion. The Late Late Show, as well as the Irish Times, conducted exit polls - that's where they stop voters on the way out of the polling station and ask them how they voted - on the issue at hand.

The Late Late Show's results were read out during the broadcast, and here's the historic moment in question. Just for clarity as well, the Irish Times' polls pretty much mirrored RTE's and the early tallies at 09:30 so far reflect the same.
