They basically packed it into a wall and plastered over it and hoped that everyone would forgive and forget which, let's be honest, we're all willing to do.
Most fans will agree that the original 'Will & Grace' series flash-forwad finale that saw Will's grown-up son marrying Grace's grown-up daughter left a less than pleasant taste in the mouth and with the show's return/reboot, there was a big question mark over how they were going to address it, if at all.

All reports from the new episode conclude that the show we know and love is back and thankfully that finale is now a thing of distant memory.
