Turns out Kristofer Hivju likes to go method when it comes to staring lovingly/oogling at Gwendoline Christie.
They may not be the likeliest of pairings on the show but they're the only one that fans can get behind without feeling weird for cheering on incest so it's only natural that they're loads of fun for the actors to play with too.
But as Gwendoline Christie explained to Seth Meyers last night, Kristofer Hivju likes to stay in character as Tormund Giantsbane even when filming has stopped, which gives him all the more time to stare her out of it while doingl things like eating sandwiches, which he takes as an opportunity for “masticating wildly at me".
Is it wrong that that just makes us want it to happen more?
