The first trailer for Michael Jackson's Lifetime biopic, Searching for Neverland has been released online.
Starring the self proclaimed 'world's greatest Michael Jackson impersonator' Navi, the film focuses on the final years of the King of Pop's life as well as the investigation into his death, for which Dr. Conrad Murray was eventually convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
The film is based on the 2014 book by personal bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard.
For those unfamiliar with Lifetime, it's a US TV network that specializes in made for television movies. Generally they're high on scandal but low on production value.
The project has been endorsed by the Jackson estate as opposed to the portrayal of Jackson by Joseph Fiennes in Urban Myths which was denounced by Paris Jackson and subsequently pulled from Sky Arts' schedule.
Searching for Neverland will air on Lifetime in the US on May 29th.
