You can't move without seeing or hearing Amy Schumer these days (which is nothing but a good thing) so the announcement of her forthcoming HBO special comes as welcome as a basket of pastries filled with money.
Schumer's hour-long special comes at the tail-end of what is probably the busiest year of her life and will see her play at the iconic Apollo Theater, and is directed by none other than Chris Rock.
"Amy Schumer Live At The Apollo" premieres on HBO on October 17th, which means unless we get to see it on our TV screens here ASAP, you'll have to just avoid the internet for a while if you want to save any of the jokes from being spoiled.
No word yet on what TV stations we'll see it on over here, but seeing as Schumer is the hot topic right now it's kind of a no brainer for one of them to pick it up. Hopefully the lack of HBO on this side of the pond means that Comedy Central will have first dibs but as long as someone opts to show it, we're easy about who that someone is.
