First Dates Ireland returns for another series tonight to brighten up your Tuesday January evenings and let you enjoy the awkwardness of a first date from the comfort of your own couch.
It sounds like they have a great mix of characters on the show this season and while often First Dates can be pretty good at helping cupid's arrow to strike, sometimes they just get it so wrong. That certainly is the case tonight with Leigh and Samuel, who you may have seen talk about their date on last Friday's Late Late Show.
Leigh from Athenry is on the show tonight alongside his best friend Niamh, who heads off on her own date with theatre director Isabelle. They hit it off but poor Leigh and Samuel seem to be like chalk and cheese.
