The folks behind EastEnders must have filmed these scenes quick-smart today as the soap proved that it's very much in touch with what the folk of England are talking about, with the Carter family not only referring to Brexit, but also Iceland's defeat of England in the Euros last night.
The scenes show Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Johnny (Ted Reilly) discussing the fallout from the referendum, with Mick saying it's driving him mad.
It's driving 'im mad, innit!
Although it was the Euros Mick was most upset about, and when Johnny pointed out that Iceland were the better team, Mick agreed but said (in his most Danny Dyer-est way ever); "Don't mean I'm going to start eating puffin while listening to Bjork does it?"
