You know it's winter when the weather starts f*cking things up for the pros, and the fog that's been hanging around for the last few days has gone past being spookily appropriate and is now causing nuisance for everyone, including one Eamonn Holmes.
Holmes had to phone it in for today's Sky News Sunrise show after the fog prevented him from leaving Belfast, but just because he wasn't in the studio it didn't mean he was off the hook completely.
Cancelled on @British_Airways then @flybe Everything else full. Not getting out of Belfast.Ah well there are worse things in life.#LondonFog

Co-host Sarah-Jane Mee held the 3-hour broadcast together for the most part but did get Holmes on air for an update via Skype just after 8am. At least he was cheery about it.
I've lost @EamonnHolmes in the fog...if anyone sees him please return him to @skynews Sunrise - we're here 6-9am #flyingsolo
