After the news a few weeks ago that David Letterman was retiring in 2015, there was a great deal of speculation about who exactly would succeed the iconic host of 'The Late Show'. We weren't waiting long for answers though, as it was announced that Stephen Colbert would replace him and was given a five year contract as presenter of the show.

Letterman then being the sound man that he is, had the future host on the show for a bit of a chat to wish him well in the hot seat, and of course they had the expected love-in. 'You're great, no YOU'RE great etc. Ah but, saying that, they are both pretty cool in fairness.
