Between House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, Netflix are a dab hand by now at producing quality, original programming, and now they've taken on the Marvel world with their upcoming series Daredevil.
Starring Charlie Cox, who fans of Boardwalk Empire will know as Owen Slater, it's set to prove a hit with comic book fans as well as us mere earthlings who just about know their Iron Man from their Thor.
Of course every superhero needs some adversity in their back story, and a superhero power of sorts. For Daredevil, who is lawyer Matt Murdoch by day, it's his heightened senses after going blind when he was a child because some radioactive (it's always got to be radioactive) substance got in his eyes.
Also lining out the cast is Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page).
We got to meet the star of the show recently to chat about how it feels to take on one of comic books most iconic characters and what it feels like to live out every boy's childhood dream of becoming a superhero.
You can check out the interview below along with two exclusive clips.
Daredevil will premiere this Friday, April 10th with all thirteen one-hour episodes available on Netflix.
