While other late night chat show hosts were busy out getting hammered or doing shots with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Conan, as a proud Irish-American decided he would never cheapen our national holiday with jokes at our expense.
Instead he did it all in one go with one big joke. Or rather one little joke that combined every stereotypical thing the international community thinks of when they think of St. Patrick's Day. Are we proud? No. But we did laugh.
