Netflix are just throwing the original series at us these days, what with Marco Polo, House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. This time round they've followed in the footsteps of the movie industry and taken Marvel Comics as their inspiration, with a new series based on the superhero Daredevil.
You probably remember the film version back in 2003, which we will forgive Ben Affleck for being in because he met his future wife Jennifer Garner on set.
This time round it will be Charlie Cox playing the part of Matt Murdock/Daredevil while Vincent D’Onofrio will play Wilson Fisk with Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
The story behind this particular superhero is that he was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. By day he is Matt Murdock, a man who fights against injustice as a lawyer, but by night (!)... he is Daredevil, fighting to clean up the New York city streets from all the bad eggs!

Season one of Marvel's Daredevil will premiere on Netflix with thirteen one-hour episodes on April 10, 2015 at 8:01am.
