Abbi and Ilana may be the two finest examples of best friends that 2017 could ask for but how did they come together? 'Broad City' is answering that question with a flashback that is equal parts 'Sliding Doors' and typical New York awfulness.
Ahead of the show's return this September, Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer headed to Comic Con to whet appetites of those in attendance with the "only one magical origin story that mattered at #SDCC2017", and shared the opening scene of the first episode for season four.
The scene depicts the duos first encounter, which takes place in the most quintessentially New York of New York places, and it's just as gross, weird and wonderful as you would expect it to be.
