We told you a few weeks ago that it was looking like Bill Murray and his 'Lost in Translation' director Sofia Coppola were doing a Christmas TV special together, which to be honest, sounded like such an odd concept, we had trouble believing it could ever come to fruition. However, Murray was on The Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday, and confirmed, all be it very haphazardly, that it was indeed on the cards.
The plan is, it will involve Murray singing a load of Christmas carols, most likely in New York and there will be a story of some sort involved too. Anyone else you would be telling them to get the boat, but Bill Murray could literally make reading the phone book entertaining at this stage.
