This is weird. Really, really weird.
Cable network Adult Swim have been keeping fans in the dark about whether they would be green lighting a fourth series of the animated series. To keep interest alive, and probably to troll a bit too, they have released an oddball (even by their standards) April Fools mini-episode.
The 10-minute video is set in Australia and is actually called Bushworld Adventures, even though it contains the Rick and Morty characters.
The episode has a trippy car journey, murder threats, poisonous snakes and off-the-wall jokes. Have we mentioned that it’s really weird yet?
Fans hoped that the episode would confirm news of the long-awaited fourth series and the clip soon went viral. They were quick, however, to express their disappointment though.
