This year marks just the fifth ever Critics Choice Television Awards which will be held in Beverley Hills at the end of the month whereby the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) award who they feel deserves recognition for their TV shows and characters this past year.
There's many a deserving winner amongst the list of nominees announced including Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, Frances McDormand in Olive Kitteridge (along with a supporting nominstion for Bill Murray), James Nesbitt in The Missing, and Adam Driver in Girls.
Game of Thrones is up for Best Drama Series alongside The Good Wife, The Americans, Empire, Homeland, Justified and Orange Is the New Black.
While The Graham Norton Show, which is broadcast in the US on BBC America, is up for Best Talk Show and is in great company alongside The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC).
Gas that James Corden is up for a nominee, he's only been there five minutes although he does seem to be nailing it.
Fans of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be delighted to know that Tituss Burgess is up for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, while it's also good to see Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks in there for Better Call Saul, as well as Amy Schumer for Inside Amy Schumer and the hugely talented Mark Rylance for his role in Wolf Hall.
The Critics' Choice Television Awards will take place on May 31 in Beverley Hills.
