Remember that time Vanilla Ice teamed up with Jedward? Yeah, we thought it was sufficiently strange at the time, but now the former international errr, rap sensation, has only gone and done something even more odd. He's landed his own DIY show, and is heading off to learn how to do it yourself from the folks who know a thing or two about kicking it old school: America's Amish community.
The 'Ice Ice Baby' star will be wrecking the err, mic, like a vandal in rural Ohio, in his latest reality TV show project. Believe it or not, this is not the first home improvement show that Mr Robert Matthew Van Winkle has been involved in. The Vanilla Ice Project ran on the DIY Network (which will also host the aptly titled Vanilla Ice Goes Amish) for three seasons, and saw himself and a team of contractors renovating properties, and creating some rather distinctive interiors. Rockstar garage anyone?
Between this and Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover, there'll be no end of familiar nineties faces popping round with a paintbrush. Wonder if they'll get John and Edward in to do a bit of heavy lifting next? We're not quite sure what the Amish would make of them though...
