The rumour mill was running rife this weekend with talk of a new reality show for UTV Ireland that would feature a mixture of stars from a range of different reality series including Tallafornia stars Phil Penny and Nikita Murray, as well as Callum Best. Sound too good (bad) to be true?

Well it is apparently, a spokesperson for UTV Ireland told the Irish Independent that it's simply not the case; "Our commissioning process doesn't start until the station launches in January, with the odd show planned to go ahead next year but, no, that is not going ahead."

"The commissioning and reviewing process is for independent producers/productions companies. We are open to a range of ideas but the process won’t begin until UTV Ireland launches in January."

Aw. We are both disappointed and relieved... but mostly the latter.
