If you fancy yourself as an actor and want to get some experience on the set of a hugely successful American TV show, then here's your chance.
AMC series Into the Badlands is returning here to film its third season and are urgently looking for extras, particularly minority ethnicities, to take part.
The call out states they are looking for hundreds of Asian, Black and Hispanic adults, as well as martial artists, gymnasts, dancers and physically, fit/active adults for some "EPIC battle scenes this season".
If you haven't heard of it before, Into the Badlands is a martial arts drama that takes place centuries into the future in a feudal society called the Badlands. The cast includes Daniel Wu, Nick Frost and Irish actresses Orla Brady and Sarah Bolger. It delivered the third highest-rated first season in U.S. cable TV history and had an average of over 2 million viewers per episode.
According to Derek Quinn, Managing Director of MovieExtras.ie, "This is a great opportunity to work behind the scenes of a major production and to be part of a really popular US TV series. Also, a great way to get some extra cash for Christmas. Generally, the pay for a day will be €100 (ranging from €83 to €130). You could be on set four or five times a month, so you could earn as much as €2,000 before the New Year."
All applicants must be over 18 years old with good availability over the coming months. Locations will be in Wicklow and Dublin, though transport may be available from some locations. There is no cost to be part of this production and all roles are paid
