At the risk of sounding like a broken record, but yes, below does contain spoilers so avert your eyes now blah blah blah. Anyways, were you WATCHING this week's episode of Game of Thrones? Ding dong Joffrey's gone, at long last the evil King is dead, and what a way to go to?!
I think the real lesson here is never to have a wedding in Westeros really isn't it? Never has a character had it coming to him more though, literally every time his little annoying face appeared on screen you'd want to smack him, thankfully Tyrion stepped in on a couple of occasions and took care of that for us.
As with any colossal TV moment these days, a lot of the fun is had observing the social media reaction to it, and fans certainly didn't hold back on their opinions last night!
Probably one of the happiest end to a #gameofthrones episode i'll ever see.

A wedding without at least 3 deaths is considered a dull affair. However tonight's was quite entertaining #GoT #gameofthrones

Aw man the #PurpleWedding was so emotional, I think I even saw King Joffrey choke up at one point. #GameOfThrones

Being someone who uses social media, I have gathered that Game of Thrones is mostly about weddings.
