Is it just me, or did anyone else wake up thInking today was Thursday? Someone get Rebecca Black on the phone, stat. Anyway, Tuesday it is, and after last night's Broadchurch finale, we were thinking there wouldn't be much in the way of entertainment on the box this eve, but between murderous mistresses, an afternoon of racing and drama in Seattle Grace, there's more than enough to keep us occupied. Here are our top three TV picks for tonight:
3. Later Live with Jools Holland - BBC Two 10.00pm
We do love a bit of Jools of a Tuesday night, and with Phoenix taking the lead this eve, we'll be more than happy to settle down on the sofa.
2. Barcelona v Bayern Munich - TV3 7.30pm
He's named in the squad, but will Lionel Messi be fit to file out for Barca this eve? If that errr, display, against PSG is anything to go by, they're going to need all the manpower they can muster to tackle last year's Champions League finalists on home ground.
1. The Syndicate - BBC One 9.00pm
Another gripping drama comes to a close this week, so we're not quite sure what we're going to do of a Monday and Tuesday eve at this rate. Kay Mellor's second series of the brilliant comedy drama based around a bunch of lottery winners has been rather good, though we can't help but think back to Series 1 (y'know, the one with Neville from Harry Potter and Stacey from Gavin and Stacey in it) with a little nostalgia. Still, Siobhan Finneran (O'Brien from Downton Abbey) has been top notch, and tonight we're finding out exactly how her husband end up bound and gagged in that cellar... Not exactly 'Fifty Shades of Grey' now is it, wha?
