They claim they've finally entered the 21st Century with a shiny new site full of videos and extras.
The show has gotten rid of former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, and has decided to update their internet presence along with the rest of the new look they'll be going for in the coming weeks and months.
They claim that "after years running a website constructed of balsa wood, rubber bands and blind hope, we’ve finally entered the twenty-first century of internet. Apparently it even works properly on mobile cellphone devices".
The new site will be hi-def footage of clips from the show as well as behind the scenes videos, as well as plenty of stuff for all the petrol heads out there from the Top Gear magazine. There will also probably be plenty of Chris Evans on it when the new series eventually starts, which he claims will feature a female host alongside him.
According to Digital Spy, it seems that ITV and Netflix are the two companies that are the frontrunners to get Clarkson & Co. to sign with them for a show that would presumably be exactly like Top Gear but under a different name (may we suggest Top, Top Gear?) and may well present a decent bit of competition for the new show.
