It's been almost two months since the 'Love Island' 2022 reunion and, as we know, many of the islanders are thriving; the brand deals have been flowing, some of the couples are looking to move in together, and Luca and Gemma have finally done a food shop with one another. But it's not only the islanders that have found love. Two islanders' parents met at the reunion show and are now married.
Yep, seriously. At the time, viewers found the reunion show to be quite disappointing and devoid of any real gossip or interest. But the aftermath is the gift that keeps on giving; Coco and Summer revealed that they had beef that wasn't aired and now, an islander has revealed that his mother met the love of her life in a fellow islander's father.
Drum-roll — George Tasker's mother married Mollie Salmon's father. Fans had previously began to speculate as to whether the now step-siblings were dating since they had been spotted together more often, but George took to Instagram to dispel the rumors in a Q&A.
A follower asked "What was that pic you put on your story of you Mollie and a couple?" to which George responded "So basically, absolute madness, my mum has married Mollie’s dad".
Announcing that he and Mollie are now stepbrother and stepsister, he summarized how it all happened, "They met at the reunion about a month ago and since then got engaged and got married". Talk about moving fast.
George even shared a snap of him and his mother on what we assume was her wedding day, congratulating her on her marriage. We didn't expect that two people who met on the show would get married so quickly and we're pretty sure that's a new record.
Congrats to the new family.
