Ben Haenow managed to claim victory last night in this year's X Factor final, beating out competition from fellow finalist Fleur East, as well as Andrea Faustini, who was voted out on Saturday night. But was he the likely winner from the offset, or who were fans voting in their droves for?

The X Factor have released their voting stats for each week of the live shows, and it seems that for the first three weeks, it was Andrea that was coming out on top, followed by Lauren Platt. However, Ben managed to secure the most votes from week four all the way up to the final, which he won by an incredible 57.2% to Fleur East's 34.3% (Andrea had 8.5%).

Other interesting stats from the series is the rise and fall of Paul Akister, who went from top three at the start to top five, and then suddenly bottom two in week five, which we can pretty much put down to Simon's comments about him being a big moan essentially.

Stereo Kicks also did well to get as far as they did considering how close to the bottom they were on many a week.

Overall though, it seems the public had their winner in sight from very early on. Now all there's left to do is listen to that new single of his, over, and over, and OVER again. At least it's halfway's decent though....come on, it is.
