So you go through the process of the auditions, and then the live shows, and then you go and win the whole thing, so doing a nationwide tour with all the runners up is the best way to come down off your high. That's the way it's always happened with The X Factor, so let's assume The Voice will be the same, right?
EEEEEEEEEGGGGHHH! Wrong. You, Leanne Mitchell, have been denied as folk don't give a fiddlers.
The Mail Online reports: "Simon Cowell is sure to feel that he has won the competition of Britain's Got Talent vs. The Voice, after the BBC show announced the the UK tour has been cancelled. The Voice winner Leanne Mitchall had been due to perform around the UK with her fellow finalists Bo Bruce, Vince Kidd, Becky Hill, Max Milner, Jaz Ellington, Tyler James and Ruth Brown… However, the tour has now been axed due to poor sales. A spokesperson confirmed to MailOnline: 'Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales - customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds'." Some useful info for you at the back there.
News of the cancellation isn't that surprising given Leanne's version of Whitney Houston's Run To You only got to number 45 on the iTunes chart, and "failed to even get into the top 40 last weekend on Downloads."
