Emma Chambers, best known for her role in The Vicar Of Dibley as Alice, has passed away at the age of 53.
Chambers also had a supporting role in Richard Curtis' box-office smash, Notting Hill, and appeared in the television adaptation of Martin Chuzzlewit. Her acting agency confirmed her death from natural causes on Wednesday, saying that Chambers "created a wealth of characters and an immense body of work. She brought laughter and joy to many."
She is survived by her husband, actor Ian Dunn.
