Down the years a long line of celebrities have lent their voices to The Simpsons, portraying usually pretty funny caricatures of themseves. The latest one to get in on the trend is billionaire Virgin tycoon Richard Branson, who will appear in the 26th series of the show this year.
Executive producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly; "Richard Branson is the Flanders to Mr. Burns. [...] He’s Mr. Burns’ nosy neighbor.” Annnnd that's all we know! But no doubt the writers have plenty in store for him.
Branson actually very briefly appeared in the series before back in a season 22 episode featuring another billionaire, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Other celebs that will be featuring in this coming season are Nick Offerman, Sarah Silverman, David Hyde Pierce, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Ross, Jane Fonda.
