There has been one notable cast member missing from the Roseanne reboot, but he was acknowledged in the episode of the rebooted '90s show that aired in the US last night.

Irish actor Glenn Quinn, who played the role of Becky Conner's husband Mark Healy, died of an accidental heroin overdose in 2002, five years after the original nine-series run ended. He was 32.

Last night's episode of the record-breaking reboot discussed the topic of infertility as Becky's chances of getting pregnant were revealed to be slim, and she revealed that she and Mark had been trying to conceive, saying that she had never been able to find 'anyone as good' as him after he died.

The episode was also dedicated to him:

The Dublin-born Quinn was also known for playing Doyle in Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel.

The Roseanne revival, meanwhile, has already been renewed for a second season.
