Red Rock premiered on BBC1 yesterday afternoon for the first time as UK viewers got to get a look at our IFTA winning soap. The show debuted in the time slot left open by the popular afternoon drama 'Doctors' and it was hoped viewers would be open to a new series to sink their teeth into for the summer months.
Looks like they have as Red Rock has proved a hit with 1.1 million tuning in to watch the goings on of the suburban Dublin town. The soap also won its slot taking 18.6% of the viewers at the time.
