Now that one of the best TV series of 2021 has come to a close - what'll we watch next? It's a question many fans have been asking themselves today following that dramatic finale episode.
The 'Mare of Easttown' reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. The limited series aired its season finale in the States last night, and is available to watch now in Ireland and the UK via Sky or NOW.
After seven episodes, the killer of Erin McMenamin was revealed to be a person no-one suspected - 13-year-old Ryan. While it certainly wasn't the outcome we were expecting, it did deliver on one final twist in a series that was full of them - albeit much grimmer than we could have ever anticipated.
Overall though, the series was a complete triumph with critics and viewers alike. Kate Winslet, Jean Smart, Julianne Nicholson and the rest of the cast delivered outstanding performances, and creator Brad Ingelsby should be proud for keeping us hooked all series long.
