Who says Hollywood has run out of ideas...
Young person's network the CW (home of Supernatural, Arrow etc) is apparently looking to do a small screen version of the classic 80s cheese-fest, The Lost Boys.
Interestingly, though, the series would span 70 years with each season set over the span of a decade. Ambitious stuff.
The possible good news is that Veronica Mars brain Rob Thomas is likely to be a showrunner, which makes us think that, at the very least, it will have moments of humour and sharpness.
The original is a bit of craic. Just don't take it too seriously and you're fine.
