Having last aired in May, The Late Late Show, Ryan Tubridy and his eclectic mix of guests return after a summer hiatus. Tonight’s line-up has a very strong Oirish theme altogether.
The band of the moment Picture This will be making an appearance. They’re best-known for hit songs like ‘Take My Hand’, ‘Never Change’ and ’95.’ There’ll also be music from The Waterboys.
Also on the show, ahead of this Sunday's highly-anticipated All-Ireland final between Galway and Waterford, Tubridy will be chatting to hurling legend Henry Shefflin and his wife Deirdre.
Dr Eva Orsmond will be talking about her new documentary Ireland’s Health Divide and the eye-opening experience she had making it as she encountered the realities of poverty in Ireland.
Viewers will also meet young Megan Halvey-Ryan again. Last time Megan was on the show, she had been waiting 18 months for surgery to correct a double curvature on her spine. Now that she has had the surgery, she joins Ryan alongside mum Sharon to fill viewers in on her recovery.
Last but not least, Ireland’s most expensive lamb pays a visit. Well, it wouldn’t be a real Irish talk show without a guest like that, right?
