The series returns to Hulu in the US this autumn.
The teaser trailer for 'The Handmaid's Tale' season five dropped overnight, giving us a brief look at the latest June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) dystopian drama. *SPOILERS FOR SEASON FOUR BELOW*
The pretty brutal season four ending saw Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) finally get what's coming to him, and he was ripped apart by the Vigilante Squad in a gruesome fashion. It was a long time coming - four seasons - but it felt extremely satisfying to see the big evil not be able to claw his way out of this one.
As you might expect, the fallout of this, with his ring finger being cut off and sent to Serena (Yvonne Strahovski), his wife has her sights firmly set on June - and seeking revenge.
As we can see in the trailer below, the pregnant wife is in mourning, dressed in black with her distress broadcast across screens all over Gilead. And June, who stands alongside Luke (O.T. Fagbenle), looks mighty pissed. It looks like there will be a showdown between the two women, and it might be one that gets brought into the public's eye.
