Remember the time they made a Simpsons intro featuring some of our favourite Family Guy characters? Well, now they're making a whole episode, and it's going on the air next year.
It's been announced that the crossover will happen in a Family Guy episode, which will hit US TV screens in Autumn 2014. (Well, they'd hardly put the Griffins in a Simpsons episode now would they? Imagine what those parents' groups would say...). Peter, Lois and co will be heading on a road trip to Springfield, and whilst there they'll meet America's longest-running animated TV family.
Word on the street is that Stewie will be rather impressed with young Bart, while Marge and Lois will find common ground and do a bit of bonding. Elsewhere Homer will have quite the debate with his new 'albino' pal Peter, as the pair can't decide which beer is better; Pawtucket or Duff.
Of course, the characters are quite excited about the big collaboration, and the network has released some statements on their behalf: "Fox hasn't spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping", Griffin said. "Finally I can get my hands on this guy!" Homer Simpson added.
We'll keep you posted as regards and Irish broadcast date.
