If you didn't spend some proportion of your youth watching Jessica Fletcher solve murders in Cabot Cove then, what, pray tell, were you doing?
The classic Murder, She Wrote made Angela Lansbury a household name, becoming one of the most successful and longest-running television shows in history and syndicated to channels all around the world. While some countries chose to keep the name, others decided to translate it into their own language, although the meaning of the title then became a little... obscured, shall we say.

Yep, in Germany, Jessica Fletcher is basically Dexter.
Maybe they're onto something though, there was an awful lot of murders in Cabot Cove....
