Remember we told you that Sharknado, the 'so bad it's almost good' SyFy movie, has been given the green light for a sequel? Well, word on the street is that starlet Tara Reid will not be returning for round two.
TMZ says the producers definitely want former Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Zeiring to reprise his role in the small screen folllow up, but they ain't so keen on bringing Jedward, sorry, John and Edward's old pal as his estranged wife. Reid has spent the past few weeks talking about the made for TV movie, and campaigning for a sequel, so if the claims turn out to be true, we're sure she won't be too happy that all her hard work has gone to waste.
Sharknado 2 (which is as of yet untitled) is due to hit TV screens in 2014, and is believed to follow the same premise as it's predecessor. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, here's the deal: Sharks get sucked into massive tornado, and rain down on city streets with particularly devastating consequences.
There's still no official word on the cast or setting, but the film's producers apparently have their hearts set on New York city. Sure who wouldn't love to see it raining sharks in the Big Apple?
