As Stranger Things' second season nears our screens, there's finally been some concrete casting news.
As we reported some time ago, the series is looking to cast a number of roles, two of which included characters known as Max and Billy, a brother-sister combo who'll form a big part of the second season.
Max is described as "a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era" whilst Billy is described as "Max's hyper-confident and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma, is a violent and unpredictable nature."
So, who's playing who and do you know them? Chances are you probably don't. According to THR, Max will be played by Sadie Sink, who turned up in The Americans and American Odyssey (never heard of it, to be honest) whilst Dacre Montgomery will play Billy.
Montgomery is an Australian actor who, surprisingly, DIDN'T turn up in Neighbours or Home And Away. His most well-known role, in fact, hasn't even happened yet - he'll be playing the Red Power Ranger in the upcoming reboot, so expect him to be the breakout star of the second season.
Speaking of breakout stars, Joe Kerry - who played '80s hearthrob Steve Harrington in the first season - has been upgraded to series regular, which means he'll feature much more in the next season.
Stranger Things' second season is set for release in 2017, however as best we can tell, no specific release date has been set as of yet.
