It's a week before pay day in January, so yes, we are assuming that most of you are staying in. And you can't stay in on a Friday without at least KNOWING who is on The Late Late Show. Well we will tell you, and you will be 'Bolton' for the TV once we do. (What? Who doesn't love a lame pun now and then?)
Michael Bolton will be joining Tubs on the show tonight! The star is responsible for every single ballad in the entire world. Well, almost all of them. His hits include 'How Am I Suppose to Live Without You', 'To Love Somebody', 'How Can We Be Lovers' and.... you get the idea.
He will join Ryan on the show after his recent performance at Britain's National Television awards, where he opened the show with X Factor winner Sam Bailey. He is also rumoured to be recording a single with the winner in her upcoming album, so watch this space for that.
Also on the show tonight is Philomena Lee, the inspiration for the Oscar nominated movie 'Philomena' starring Steve Coogan. Ryan told rte.ie: "Steve Coogan [who wrote the script for Philomena] impressed us all when he was as a guest but we were curious to know more about the woman behind the film. It's time to meet the lady herself."
As well as this, Ryan will be joined by rugby legends Rob and Dave Kearney. The chat show host has been photographed training with the lads during the week, so no doubt that will feature as a segment in the show also.
There will also be music by up and coming Irish band The Kapitals.
All in all, not a bad aul lineup. There is something for everybody. In the audience. I'll get me coat...
Meanwhile, here is Michael Bolton being a legend...
