She's topped almost every poll in Soap Land since her debut on Coronation Street but now Michelle Keegan is well and truly prepared to say so long to Tina McIntyre and has finally confirmed how her rather popular character will exit the soap next year.
SPOILER ALERT: If you're a big Coronation Street fan and would rather not know what's going to happen to Tina until next year we'd suggest you look away now.
Keegan was a guest on Jonathan Ross' chat show on Saturday night and, while having the craic with the host - as his guests tend to do - she revealed that Tina will meet her maker in a rather dramatic fashion when she's murdered on screen next year. Oooh er.
"She's getting killed" Keegan explained. "At first she wasn't, and then they came up with a really good storyline that involves a lot of characters on the street and it's going to be a big storyline next year. So, in a way, it's an honour and I'm very excited for it." The actress confirmed that she already knows who's to blame for her character's death but will be keeping schtum about it, with viewers having to guess who offed Miss Mc Intyre in the New Year. A bit like that 'who killed Archie Mitchell storyline then yeah?
Keegan leaves Coronation Street in May 2014, so we're guessing we'll be waiting a while to find out who Tina's killer is....
