'SNL' sketches that are often middling at best can sometimes be saved when, in all fairness, things go horribly wrong.
For example, that sketch with Ryan Gosling trying to keep it together alongside Kate McKinnon wasn't even that funny were it not for Gosling holding himself from laughing. This time around, it's the same thing.
Right off the bat, having a dog in the middle of a sketch is just asking for the kind of f*ck-ups that'd make a sketch funny and you can see the dog's handler, Cecily Strong, doing her utmost to keep it together and not break.
Not only that, everyone pitching the questions to her and the dog are just about keeping it together as well. Also, if for nothing else, seeing a dog just totally be a dog in the middle of a comedy sketch is going to be hilarious.
Take a look.
