All eyes have been on the cast and crew of Glee since Cory Monteith's death earlier this year and now Sky has confirmed that the popular US TV show will return to our screens in just a few weeks time.

Season 5 will air the first of a two part Beatles special on Sky One at 8pm on Friday October 4th, just a week after it premieres in the USA. When the gang are done and dusted with the British pop icons they'll turn to that much talked about third episode, which pays tribute to their friend and colleague.

Execs at Fox have confirmed that the episode will directly deal with Monteith's death, and feature a series of public service announcements about drugs from creator Ryan Murphy and the cast. Jane Lynch previously described it as one of the most beautifully written scripts she's ever seen.

It has also been revealed that Glee will be followed on Friday nights by The Blacklist, a new US drama featuring Avengers: Age of Ultron villian-to-be and Boston Legal legend James Spader. He stars as an ex government agent who becomes one of the FBI's Most Wanted after brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe.
